Kelly tweaks-Question for Kelly... redux
I'm wondering if any adjustments should now be made to the paging file, which is currently being automatically "managed" by Windows (XP Home). No. I am under the impression that adding more memory decreases the system's reliance on the paging file, thereby reducing the wear and tear on the hard drive.

Page File Question
I'm wondering how to configure the pagefile. Currently we have ac: partition of 4g with about 750 mb. free, and ad: partition of 46g with about 35g free. The current page file is 1150mb on c. The MS-recommended pagefile of 1.5x ram on the c: partition is obviously not going to work for me given the lack of space

Page File Question
What you want to do is set your page file to 2x your total RAM. So if you have 1024MB of RAM, set your MIN and MAX page file to 2048MB. If you have 2048MB of RAM, set your page file to 4096MB.
